We do have a lot of respect for Arsenal but at the same time we concentrating all our efforts on this', there has always been positive relations between us and Arsenal', so discussing this topic with them will not be easy'.

The player himself has been sending mixed messages about his future, stating his commitment his arsenal, whilst at the same time stating that he would love to return to Barca at some point in the future.

Fabregas signed for the Gunners in 2003, offering him a contract that Barca couldn't do due to Spanish law, since that time he has made 231 appearances and been made captain.
