Valencia striker David Villa

David has made a decision regarding his future, he has stated that he already knows where he wants to be.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are leading the chase for the in-demand striker, who is also reportedly wanted by giants Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

David Villa earlier stated his wishes to stay in Spain and after scoring the winner in his country's 1-0 Confederations Cup win over Iraq he said he knew where his future lies.

Valencia do not want to sell, but their financial position means a transfer seems inevitable.

"I have made my decision," Villa told the press after the game in Bloemfontein when he was yet again quizzed about his future.

"My agent knows my wishes, and he is now working on that - so I am relaxed.

"There is no deadline on the subject, and I really do not have any more details as this whole thing is not totally dependent on me."
